Re: Did I hear a call for a cat? :) That's one serious Cat. <grin> Played with the image in PSPv9 prior to running through DAP - Pastel template. Than back in PSPv9 for a few additional tweaks. Thanks for the play, Amica

Re: Did I hear a call for a cat? :) Cats rule, dogs drool. Made a few adjustments and then used Impressionist for a paint effect.

Re: Did I hear a call for a cat? :) Thanks for playing, my friends. Sweet renditions by all Lyle, that has a sort of sinister touch Gene, soft and lovely color mix John, that's too funny

Re: Did I hear a call for a cat? :) I entitled this creation "Indifference". Two reasons. First, desated a layer, then inverted it. Placed it over the original and used the Difference blending mode. Anybody get it? Then, secondly, the best cats who ever let me share their space had "indifference" perfected to a fine art.

Re: Did I hear a call for a cat? :) Nice one Veralisa, it really brought out the eyes and did a nice job with the hair. I tried to follow your effect and the hair came out about the same, but the eye and nose color changed. I must be doing something wrong. Tired again and the eyes came out right, but the hair has white highlights instead of the black like yours. Last edited by MiningArt; 08-26-2009 at 10:35 PM.

Re: Did I hear a call for a cat? :) Hey John, thanks for the comp...tiny secret here re:eyes & nose: they've been selected from the bottom (original) layer and brought up to the top of layers. Eyes put on an adjustment layer for hue/sat. After flattening, burn & dodge a bit around to blend in a bit better. Thank you again...you made my day!
