| Curtis Jenny Going for an oil painting effect: Started in DAPainter with the Aquarell effect Brought into Photoshop and applied Akvis Artwork Used a Filter/Render/Lighting technique to give depth to the paint strokes Finished using a clarity adjustment along with some levels and selective color adjustment Did I get close? |

| Re: Curtis Jenny Some really nice renditions, people. Part of the challenge is figuring out was done and seeing if I can duplicate it. So far what I've learned is I need a lot more practice. <grin> Great image to play with. Wish I had had the opportunity to actually photograph this plane. Used DAP for the basic image. Then tried a few things in PSPv9 to enhance it. Didn't get what I had wanted in PSP. (Need a lot more practice in adding textures/brushstrokes.) |
