I think this is a Mallard....
I was browsing through some photos on my computer and found this one I took this spring at the Botanical Garden in Norfolk, Virginia. I thought it might be fun to play with it.

I used some Photoshop filters and the Pattern Stamp Tool for my version.

Thanks for sharing your Malliard with us Fran. Went with a sketch with contours type effect with this one.

Lyle, you are bad, bad, bad -- you made duck salad out of that nice duck. Nice work, though. Estrella, I like your Akvis oil version and Palms, beautiful -- as always.

Lots of nice renditions. I had a hard time with this one, redid it about 8 times. Finally settled for this, a few tweaks and PaintEngine using the glow preset.
