Mother and baby

I hope you're not too sick of my pictures
This one was taken during a medieval reenactment in Crevecoeur-en-Auge (Normandy, France).
Have fun
Sylvia
PS: Sorry, Steve, no portraits from Paris...

Re: Mother and baby

Sylvia, your photographs are charmed and they are a joy. As I worked on this one I went back in time to when I held my babies and looked out the window, just like this mom. Thanks for the trip back.

I used Topaz Simp on the watercolor setting, then tweeked here & there. Changed the window view and added a PS texture.

Gentlemen, your versions are wonderful. You did this mamma proud.

Thank you Silvia..

I have found that using the save for web function in Photoshop you can save a picture with a size of around 15X20 and @ around 4.5MB or a tad bigger and it will scrunch down to under 200K with minimal loss... as shown in this sample post

Or... just post a picture in the thread as reference then post a link to a larger size High Rez copy of the original that is stored on the web somewhere... such as ImageVenue.com (3Meg max, free) pixentral.com (2Meg max, free) photobucket.com (1 Meg max free, 5 Meg PRO) mediafire.com (100 Meg per file, free)

I always use the save for web for the forums.
In fact I just found out the dimension of the picture doesn't matter with RetouchPro, it just has to be under 200 ko. Good to know...

Re: Mother and baby

Wasn't sure which way to go on this one especially after looking at everyone's great versions
so this is what i opted for, maybe a bit dark for some but it was the way i preferred it, lighter didnt look right ! ! !

I think I would have lightened her face a bit, but it looks good.
