Don't need no stinkin' photo!!

I created this painting, from scratch, in Photoshop using some Bob Ross (the happy painter) style bushes. I began painting, with acrylics on canvas, using his wet on wet method back in the 80's. I figure it is good practice for using "Non-Destructive Layer Painting Style" in Corel Painter and Photoshop. It forced me to re-think how a painting is created from back to front. I used over thirty layers for this painting.

Easy enough for you to say. Me, I can't draw free hand if my life depended on it.

WOW WOW nice job. I too can't draw anything from scratch and have blessed digital painting media for bringing out the deeply buried artist in me. You are certainly an inspiration.

Ditto for me. That kind of artistry went to my dad, his brother, and two of my daughters.

And they laughed when I taped all those "Joy of Painting" shows every Saturday on Public TV. Well, they aren't laughing now. Wahhaha...

Seriously, thanks for the kind remarks everyone. It isn't so much about the artistic ability, it's more about learning the process and using the proper tools.
