Re: Hotel Adlon Berlin

This is the Brandenburger Tor right opposite of the Hotel at tonights Festival of Lights. Not sure if you can do anything with it, at least it can serve as a colorful background

Re: Hotel Adlon Berlin

I used Kyoto color to change the whole color setting, then layer blended on top an outline sketch (from Topaz).

Nice sights from Germany.

Re: Hotel Adlon Berlin

Nice pastels Veronica. I tried a duotone, some shading and finished up with Impressionists.

Nice image, really like the colors. For mine, simplified by vectorization.

John, that's stunning, I keep on looking closer & closer.

Grant, you must be an illustrator because your rendition could be right off their menu cover!

In a sketching mood right now. I attached a low quality crop; below's a link to the higher quality full version.

Re: Hotel Adlon Berlin

John, I was actually aiming to do some HDR pics, but it was cold, raining and crowdy. Like what you did to it though you shouldn't have cut off the horse heads of the quadriga
Grant, that look like it is out of a very old newspaper, lovely
Lyle, that is a nice scetch, especially like how the pen strokes are visible
Dan, nice one, like the overall golden tone

Thanks Palms, as a snapshot it's not that bad, I know it's hard to artify this one, but you succeeded

These are great.

I did not use Topaz Labs because it is not free program.

That were Left photo is Ink Outlines & Right photo is crosshatch filter.

Re: Hotel Adlon Berlin

Thanks for the image Amica

I Love this image, the way you caught the light spilling into the street from the rain.

PS AHB.....
