Re: Carriage

Thanks Pavel; glad to see you again too.

lol Amica; been posting a lot less with all the forums that I frequent; been playing with my new toy (Win7 64-bit). Today, I updated my memory for a total of 6GBytes too (want more, but price constraints kept me to 6; can have as much as 16G with the MB that I use). Also, I like playing UNO with my Win98 VM which can be time consuming. lol

Faded, cracked, and distressed. Couldn't help putting an aged effect on this one.

Re: Carriage

Wow! You guys have been busy, huh? Happy Halloween to all of you

Skip, I think the old effect fits nicely to this one
Pavel, on you first you distributed the colors nicely and your second is very creative and fits especially today nicely
Peter, lovely texture, looks great
Sylvia, lovely and a real pretty border you've added
John, nice duotone. I would have never thought of it
Grant, both lovely versions but I personally prefer nr. 2
Alex, they are both charming and I can't decide if I like one more than the other
ckjeep, nice
Palms, great rough pastell
Dan, very nice
Steve, wow great texture one your first (What is it?) of course your second is lovely too
Nancy, great use of texture
Lynn, nice color splash

Re: Carriage

Made it more of a winter scene. Desaturated the background and used a heavy brush style.

That's canvas with the scaling increased to make it show more with the busy image. And thanks.

Re: Carriage

I just purchased filter forge and this is my first attempt. Watercolor painting default settings. I think I will blur the background trees though...
