Really nice results folks. Especially cool idea to add more birds Palms. Anyway, went Gouche with mine.

Newbie Re: Sunset with bird
Used Corel Painter ll and the chalk brushes. Starting with a large size and using progressively smaller sizes. Finished with a texture based on original image and a slight bit of sharpening.

Back in Photoshop I adjusted the yellow/red a bit.
