Visions of the future - GREAT digital Watercolor

Click the Latest teaser (2007) link under Video Demos near the bottom.

Simply jaw dropping compared to the relitively poor WC implementation of Painter 11.

I can't help but hope that he sells this software to Adobe or Corel for big bucks, keeps lots of royalties, and continues to develop bigger better things. I also can't help but hope that Adobe or Corel make 100% use of his skills so we here in John Q. Publicland can enjoy it all artistically.

Re: Visions of the future - GREAT digital Watercol

Thanks Danny for mentioning my work. Adobe did license our tech in 2006. I recently saw this video from them showing 3D brushes and paint smearing:

In 2007 they told me they couldn't hire me. Seems they have someone else to come up with the tech you see in the above facebook video - which I believe is not based on MoXi.

Frankly, I'm quite disappointed by the simulation quality they have. Things could have been done way much better.

Yes. If those big companies don't care, I'll do it myself.

Maybe a company like ArtRage can work with you. Like the result. Just wish I was a painter and had a wacom, but alas, I'm a simulator with filters. lol

Thanks for your suggestion, Lkroll. I think the Artrage guys mentioned in their forum that they have their own plan.

Given your location, have you tapped into anyone living at One MSFT Way? Seems like they would/should be very interested given the superior results of your programming vs. any other known program.

I joined MS one year ago and I've been working on digital painting since. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
