nasturtium, those all come from one of my oldest and largest filter forge filters. it's also one of my favorites. i call the filter 'The Monster' because it's extremely large for a filter. it's almost a program. it was made in one of those wild, i-dont-care-how-large-filters-are-supposed-to-be, totally creative splurges done over several days and modified now for several years. in fact, now that filter forge 2 is in beta, i've been adding new items. it's actually so large that my single core computer was having a hard time handling it. but, my new quad core just purrs right along and the monster just purrs right along with it

and yes, it does have some emboss type effects within it due primarily to the HDR lighting environment incorporated by filter forge into certain filter types. mine is one of those types. there is a 'height' control on the filter and a couple of other sliders to take advantage of the height feature. can make for some interesting effects.

OLDZ. You have to do some work afterwards to bring back the saturation on the flower. And beforehand you need to do an enhance edges. I love this filter. Heck, I love about 50 of them. My portfolio has increased a lot since getting FF.

cool. i'll have to check that one out. and yes, i'm afraid filter forge has spoiled me on filters. i used to go seeking them out on the web. i have a harddrive somewhere full of .8bf filters. now, i just FF and if i cant find what i want, i just make it myself

try some of northernshadow's filters. i think you might like some of those.
