| reverse engeneering - polaroid hi for two days now i'm trying to figure out how to get this kind of 'simple' polaroid effect i'm close, but not close enough. i like the processed photo so much, that i would like to reproduce this effect as close as possible. any ideas how to achieve it? thanks! mateusz |

| Re: reverse engeneering - polaroid Just as a starting point, based on the looks of it: 1 convert to sepia 1a - reduce the sepia colour saturation by about -50 (I tested that). 2 Make a burn overlay and paint in 'burn' into the edges, sorta random-like 3 increase contrast (you need to look and adjust for the image, not me tell you a value). 4 maybe add a overblown hilight layer and 'un-burn' some hilights as in the top of the picture. |
