Re: Montmartre Wonderful captures Sylvia. I always enjoy the play with your images. Jealous I am too. One day, maybe I will be able to visit Europe. I do have some French blood in me (along with German, Dutch, Chinese, Korean, and Chippawa Native American). I literally am a deutch mixture. lol

Re: Montmartre Beautiful scene and twice beautiful renditions by all. I don't know which I favor, Lyle's powerful colors or Grant's subtle ones (how do you do that?). Lynn, the cutout filter was a good choice, wouldn't have thought to use it. It worked really well for you.. Well, I went the trusty Hayes Island route though I'd first manipulated the colors and later used the smart blur layer twice...fiddling with many blend modes. A final layer of the dots pattern (you know the one, dots, lines or circles...) then eroded the edges. I'd like to be able to say that I went there, Silvia, I live vicariously through your images.

I used two different types of filters in F.F. after using PS to do some color, levels, and sharpness correction. I used the anisotropic filter right before using the Filter Forge Filters.
