Lyle-I think you created yet another new genre! You know in a few hundred years they'll be teaching Ikroll innovation in art school :-)

Some pseudo lucis followed by edge enhancement. Nothing too terrible I guess and quality has degraded quite badly compressing to jpeg

secretagents - your version is very 'the new art' meaning it's a pretty cool mix of styles

secretagents - I like that drawn/outlined effect. I've ended up with that look by accident a few times and wish I knew how to create it deliberately. The selective color really focuses the eye
John - Our quest for realistic brush strokes has taken us to the far corners of cyber space, no? I like how the strokes follow the contours of the image - did you make a custom brush strokes file first? If so was it with Photosketcher?
