Re: Making a realistic old school high contrast Li

Seems we have two different plugins being talked about here. One only works with Windows and one works with Windows and Mac. It does state Macs as far back as OS 8 and OS X. I wonder what it would do in a Mac with Intel inside and OS 10.6.2?
The two URL's are:

http://www.cybia.co.uk/fotomatic.html This is the one that Lyle mentions.

and http://www.cybia.co.uk/technix.htm This is the one that Kiska mentions.

I think I will download the old mac one and see what we shall see. I'll get back to you all on this.

I installed the plugin that Kiska mentioned but it doesn't show up in my iMac 2009 with Adobe Photoshop CS4.

Re: Making a realistic old school high contrast Li

I have the one before leopard; I get all these cats confused. ANYWAY, I also have cs and tried it there. It worked. I think you need, as a 'companion piece' the BW plus. Still doesn't work in cs3

Cool info Gunner. It's the same company. Not sure why they would have two separate sites to host the free plugin (one Windows only and one both). Oh well. Now I'm relieved for Kiska that it's legitimate (paranoid I am).

The first uses the Martin Koch plugin. The second are interlaced dynamic threshold versions.
