My first attempt

Here is a photo I took over the weekend of a Mission in San Antonio. I thought I would try my hand at photoart and I used a technique I read about at http://www.davrodigital.co.uk/tutori...sland-cafe.htm

I would be grateful for any comments and suggestions. I was also hoping some other members would use this mission photo and show me some different techniques. Thanks

Dak Paule, Welcome to RetouchPRO Hope you enjoy your stay here and make lots of friends. You do good work...I think it looks great!! Almost a HDR effect!

I just cropped and did some bas relief work then finished with some Snap Art embellishments

Re: My first attempt

Welcome to RP. I especially like how you enhanced the sky. That worked very well.

Hope to see more of your work in the future. You're off to a great start.

Re: My first attempt

Hey, thanks for all the encouragement from everyone. I read about the AOP effect on here yesterday so I downloaded it for free here

http://www.romancortes.com/blog/arcimbolder/

and used it on my Mission photo. I also added a palm tree. I like the effect of the AOP program.
