John, I really like the one you did of the Bike. When you say you used "Impressionist", what is that exactly?

Thanks

Dak

...and, a watercolor for that woman on the beach. It's an AHB with color and texture on a blending layer.

BTW, Alex, your color and style are outrageous...simply wonderful.

Hello, Impressionist is a free plugin that is used for painting/art effects. Just use the forum search for 'impressionist plugin' for lots of information.

Re: India 2

Alan, you sure know how to get the most out of Impressionist. You never fail to impress me.

Haven't had much time for this sort of folderol lately but had to take a stab at at least one of Sylvia's nice images. I did an AHB watercolor aided by a couple of Topaz filters and some miscellaneous CS2 tweaking.

Thanks for the nifty pics, Sylvia. Keep 'em coming.

Sylvia,

Thanks for the Impressionist program! I am anxious to learn how to use it. I am having a little trouble figuring out how to use it however. The "help file" will not work with Vista or Windows 7 apparently, which are the os's that I have. Is there a set of instructions that will work with my operating system? The work that I have seen done by others on here using your Impressionist program is really nice.

Thanks,

Dak

Re: India 2

Could come up with one for this one for whatever reason. Finally decided on a colored pencil sketch. Click here (http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/1861/bikey.jpg) for the full rendition.

Re: India 2

You have to copy the files in your plug-ins folder (c:\program files\Adobe...\plug-ins), then restart Photoshop.
Sorry I can't be more precise right now as I'm not on my computer.
