Spring flowers.

It's finally spring here. Here's a nice purple crocus to artify.
Or a helleboris. My favorite since it blooms first of all my plants. Also it's my only true green flower.
I smudged the crocuses a little and then used xero's caravaggio filter on a layer and blended with luminosity.

Re: Spring flowers.

Beautiful flowers, thanks for the play. I used Impressionist for both.

Re: Spring flowers.

John-The helleborus (can never spell this right) looks like a real watercolor. Did you use any particular preset in Impressionist?

Lynn-Interesting. I would have never thought of combining the pictures.

Lyle-As always, a very unique approach. (Somehow that seems like an oxymoron.)

Re: Spring flowers.

Fran, whatever you call it, it's a very nice picture.

Grant, I love it. The colors are wonderful together.Even the thumbnail is impressive, but the larger picture is great. What did you use to create the texture?

Re: Spring flowers.

Palms, all I can say is wow!
Maybe I'm glad your hellebores aren't blooming yet. I absolutely love helleborus plants even though I can never spell it right.
This one is the only one I seem to be able to raise. I have two black walnut trees in my yard and some plants are poisoned by the roots. I think that is what happened to a couple other variety of hellebores that I tried to start.
I'd like to see picture of yours when they bloom.
