There is some really nice work in this thread folks.

Nasturtium, yours is especially beautiful and it looks to me like a world where fairies would live, in fact I am quite sure I keep catching glimpses of fairies every time I look at yours. Brilliant!

Peter, really strong piece of work. I went in your direction, replacing my background with a midnightish duotone and leaving my foreground somewhat similar to the original. Your additional paint work really makes your piece outstanding.
