OK; made up and did a watercolor this time (last effort not my best; lol. Could do better from what I know now, but lazy I am tonight).

I've taken a little break recently but just couldn't keep my hands off this one. Thanks Nancy. Maybe I shouldn't have taken so much time off. Well, the joy is in the journey.

Re: cut flowers in pitcher - creative interpretata

Lyle-I think that is the first time anybody has said that to me. You really know how to talk to a girl. :-) That has such a tactile quality to it - makes you want to touch the screen to test whether it's really 3D or not. 2nd Your second one is quite modern looking

palm1 - that is SO beautiful. I love how you enhanced the details of the flowers and grunged up my walls.

vitaly - gorgeous and elegant - as always. I really like how you increased the tension in the composition

Lynn55 - oh! That is such a pretty bright pink and manipulating the light like that is wonderful

John - I think you just described my workflow. Yours is a very dreamy interpretation

Beefy24 - very nice - like an illustration

Grant - that is really 'painterly'

OLBaldy - Wow! The texture you achieved in the leaves is marvelous

Veronica - those are both very pretty. Whatever you did to 'muck' them up took them light years away from anything looking like a snapshot - well done!

PeterS - wouldn't want you to go into flower withdrawal or anything. Gosh! If I saw that in any museum here it would fit right in. Did you do that edit in Painter?

Thanks everybody! I am just blown away by the caliber and variety of the edits here. After the photoshoot I was feeling like a failure because the whole point was to play with & try to learn the external flash (which didn't even manage to get taken out it's case - lol)

- Nancy

Thanks Nancy, no fear of that here I think.

It was all done in PS, I tried Painter once and it really got me confused so I didn't carry on with it.
