I agree. Very unusual! And Peter, I'd contact Hallmark. It's beautiful!

Re: pink posies for painting

Was able to sit & play tonight, just tulips & me!

Changed color...why not blue? With John's work in mind I decided to add a background as well. One of my images for bkgrnd, repainted, Masked flowers, and did an Orton effect on the whole thing. Lastly, trying to get the effect of being inside of a house looking out, did a dark gradient as framework. For all that work it's not much but I really enjoyed myself.

John - those three are creative, imaginative and really neat!
Lyle- . My mother always said the easiest way to deal with temptation is to simply give in. Why don't you just surrender to your current mosaic binge and go with it? I think we're all enjoying seeing where you're going with this. And please don't lose the crazy - that's why we like you so much.
PeterS-WOWSERS! That is so pretty! Shall we start a 2nd thread where people can add text to that first one? It's really, really fantastic. Your 2nd edit would make a marvelous wall mural.
OLBaldy-That's really innovative and original. Lots of things for your eyes to do in your edit.
Lynn-thanks! I've never heard of Paint.net. The one in the middle with the glow effect is really eye catching.
Veronica - indeed, why not blue? Don't be so humble it's a very nice edit. You know sometimes we feel our interpretations aren't that successful ... but as long as you have fun and maybe learn something that IS success.

Re: pink posies for painting

I have a collection of Victorian greeting cards and thought your tulips would fit right in, but I couldn't come up with a caption. Nice photos to play with.

Re: pink posies for painting

Thanks for the comments folks. I'm not the only one crazy. lol

Cool link too Veronica. I really do like mosaic art and have been following the work of Dr. di Blasi (used his Java Jar for the Opus Musivum rendition) for a few years now.
