Waterlilies

Just figured out the AHB today (finally!) and had to post my first two tries. I took these at Butchart Gardens last July and would love to see what others do with them.

Re: Waterlilies

Thanks for the play Becky. I used about the same procedure on both, cropped, simplified, pixelized and finished in Impressionist.

Created a seamless tapestry, but you have to click the link below to see it in its full glory. Attached is a low quality crop.

Re: Waterlilies

Enjoyed the play on these Becky. Used a lot of filters I lost track of what I did.

Thanks
Grant

Re: Waterlilies

Very nice! Looks like night on the pond. I especially like the texture on the first one.

Re: Waterlilies

These pretty waterlilies.

I adjusted dry brush and plastic wrap filter with extra contrast on first picture of
Waterlily-1.jpg

I adjusted plastic wrap, saturation and high contrast on second picture of Waterlilies-2-original.jpg

Thank you

Re: Waterlilies

This one, once finished, had Happy Mother's Day written all over it, so I did!
AHB and hue/sat adjustments.

BTW, really liked your photographs, Becky.
