Re: Cup of Tea/Coffee ?

OB, I love the texture on the tea cup. It's kind of pearlescent (is that a word?) and is nicely contrasted with the rest of the picture.

Re: Cup of Tea/Coffee ?

Sylvia that looks neat i too have been playing with fractalius of late but not got the results that you are getting yet !

Beefy good take, i like the added photo

Tennie that is quite a delicate watercolour feel

Olbaldy i like the depth that you have got on your version i am guessing some emboss there ?

Re: Cup of Tea/Coffee ?

I think Fractalius is quite tricky, Palms. So far, I've never liked the results I got by strictly applying one of the presets, which is why I always use them on duplicate layers. I then play with the opacity and the blending modes.

Re: Cup of Tea/Coffee ?

Thanks for all the kind comments!

It entailed some minor tweaking, then a little bit of Fractalius and like Sylvia said, "then play with the opacity and the blending modes." Then Filter Forge Plastic Wrap... again playing with the opacity, blending modes, and mask.
