yellow flowers against a pretty sky

I don't know if you can do anything with this. I thought it might be fun. Enjoy and be creative.

Oo-oo! The black and white is very pretty. It looking like an etching. The color version has a Japanese feel to it.

Thanks for the play Nancy!

I had a hard time figuring out something to do with this nice picture.. wound up using a bit of Fractalius to finish off my version...

Re: yellow flowers against a pretty sky

I haven't posted anything here lately and boy, do I miss coming around here! I've been getting ready for a show, an art auction actually, and I've about 30 prints in various stages of matting. Other things, too, commonly known as "life".

This was such a lovely photograph. Very romantic. Did it up in AHB and layer blended a text brush.

Thanks, Nasturtium, it's almost as pretty as you are.

OlBaldy-reminds me of some beautiful Thai handmade rice paper I have
Veronica - you have to print that off as a greeting card, it is really lovely. Thanks for the compliment, Let us know how the auction goes. I'm in the process of deciding what to print and how to find sales outlets for things. Wish me luck!

Re: yellow flowers against a pretty sky

G'MIC now can fake Fractilus (see this post and follow the thread). Maybe not the perfect example (still figuring out how to use the new sketch preset), but I'll get there. If only you all could know how long I've tried to mimick this look but to no avail; lol

G'MIC rocks (not the first time I said this).

Lyle - that really does look Fractilus-like. I'm really impressed what you can coax out of Gimp, I've never had much luck with it, maybe because my programming skills are skimpy
