Re: Luna

You almost fooled me, Grant, I thought it was one of Peter's sketches!
Great one, Palms.
I haven't even painted Luna yet, I've been too busy translating my e-books into French.
BTW, I'm leaving Thursday for 5 weeks in France. I'll probably snap tons of pictures there again .

Re: Luna

Beautiful girl.
Enjoy your trip to France. Not sure how much it is affected by heat wave over Europe.

Re: Luna

25C sounds about perfect. Guess France was not affected all that much.

Re: Luna

Still on my vexel binge. David (G'MIC) just recently made some cool updates to his paint preset that makes them even easier but I still did the vector simplication step.

Re: Luna

Hey there everyone. I'm new at painting in Photoshop and to be truthful I'm not a very good artist. I love looking at the work everyone does here, I just wish I had half the talent as the regular contributers. This is a hodgepodge from tutorials I've used and I liked the look. Hopefully someday I will develop my own 'style' but I liked the look of this so I thought I'd share.

looks nice, we were all new to painting at one point but the more you practice and take part in some of the posts the better you will get, the main thing is to enjoy what you are doing and learn

Re: Luna

Been on a circlism binge of late so why not.

edit:

Another try; no need to re-open this post. Believe I figured out how to milk more details by using a 3 pass approach then squeezing the dots closer together using LqR (equivalent to Content Aware resizing).

Re: Luna

I'm a bit late for this one but here's one from me. I did a little bit of retouching, then applied an art effect to a dup layer and set it to dodge.

I dont know
RetouchPro has a limit to the size of file you can upload. It is 100KB for regular members and 200KB for Patron members. If your file is larger, then you need to either downsize it to fit, or upload it on some other server and post a link to it it here. If you post a link, then you should also attach a reduced size version here because external links are often broken over time.
Regards, Murray
