Re: Paris

OK Sylvia; I'll render this one here. lol (inside joke for those who do not frequent DPR). Used FotoSketcher again. Really like Dave's gem and don't use it enough.

Thanks for posting, Sylvia. The board's getting busy after a slow summer.

Re: Paris

I always say, "If you can't sleep, why toss/turn? Go try to something creative on the computer." The first two are based on Photoshop's Smart Blur/Edges Only, Glowing Edges, some sharpening, hue/sat and curves.

The 3rd one is based on layers rendered by Akvis Sketch, Virtual Painter/Oils and Paint Engine.

Sylvia: Really like your interp. Just great.

I love Paris, even when it is raining at dusk.

Tell me, when I download an image to work on, like this one, how come it has a file size of 205kb, but when I open it in Photoshop it is more like 2.2 mb in size, humm?

Like it even more when it's dark outside. Wish I was there now.

Same here. I don't know why Photoshop does that either.

Re: Paris

Thank you Sylvia, I like your version very much also - looks like water color

I used Photoshop CS5: Mixer Brushes (John Derrys Artists Brushes), liquify to distort the image and some tone, color ajustment layers and high pass with overlay to sharpen.

another one that I rustled up, it took a long time and I used a couple of different apps. But, a lot of it was done in P.S. using the "Liquify" filter.
