sitting on the beach

Here is a pic of my friend's daughters sitting on the beach. I thought it would make a good photo-art subject. Have fun with it if you want to play.

Re: sitting on the beach

Cute picture Dak. I'll kick things of with a watercolor of a water scene.

Re: sitting on the beach

Sort of went wack blending PS Watercolor filter, FotoSketcher (Oil Pastel Sketch) and a lot of other things. The compression noise (to meet size requirements here) was so great that I'm linking a higher quality version as well.

I used Akvis Sketch for the outlines/edges; colors/effects rendered by Impressionist, Paint Engine plugins.

Re: sitting on the beach

Thanks Danny - I figured a beach scene like this had to have a seagull.

Re: sitting on the beach

Hey, thanks everyone for working on my beach picture. Good job. Nice addition of the seagull, Skip. Lyle, thanks for including the larger version again.

That brings up a question I have about size of an image used for photo-based art. Does the size matter much when submitting an image for members to work on? I know it does for photo retouching but how about for the pics that are made into painted like images.
