Camembert city hall

Here's another picture from Camembert to play with.
Have fun,
Sylvia
PS: Camembert is the name of the village where the woman who "invented" the process lived.

Re: Camembert city hall

Great picture Sylvia, love what you did with it. Woke up early this morning and when I started playing with the picture I kind of went crazy with ideas. It was like eating peanuts, once I started I couldn't stop.
Here they are:
A Pencil
A Pastel-ish Colored Pencil with a touch of an Orton effect
and a Watercolor.

Sylvia, BTW, that's a pretty nifty looking graphic you use above your images...the spiral notebook thingie. How does it work? Image on a prepared background? Yeah, that must be it. Looks good.

Veralisa, I have it on a separate file, and I add it to the picture at the end.

Re: Camembert city hall

First time posting here after seeing all the great one you are all posting. Have been lurking here for a couple of years . Used pixel bender, then played with filter forge texture and then water color, might have gone over board.
Nice pic Sylvia. Muriel

Re: Camembert city hall

Hi everyone!
I enjoyed watching this shuttle.
Sylvia gave a picture and all did it themselves.
Sylvia presented her vision but
Nobody in their work will not fix bad horizontal.
Simulate the painting does not work.

"Well, sweet, amazing" - I am against the sweet speeches.
Sorry.
forward shock...

Re: Camembert city hall

The bad horizon? What bad horizon?
It's what makes the charm of this picture

Re: Camembert city hall

Sorry. I got excited.
The problem is not Sylvia, but the French.
"Bad horizon" - no, bad my eye.

Sorry.
I did not consider relief.
Sorry, Sorry, Sorry

Sylvia, I think the horizon problem found in the area of France. I see the flag of the country.

Re: Camembert city hall

always suspected that my favorite brand of cheese is also a place in France, now I know that for sure.
I do agree with Vitaly, the place is by no means in Tibet, yet the slope is so steep.....

And some people insist Normandy is totally flat!
Talking of cheese, there are also places called Livarot, Pont-L'Evêque, etc.

Re: Camembert city hall

What a beautiful building. I have a weak spot for interesting architecture.
Couldn't decide if I wanted to do this as a pencil smudge or a watercolor, so I did one of each. <smile>

Thanks for the play!
