1929 Packard Coupe

Was going through some old photos I took at an Vintage car show at the Shelburne museum in Shelburne Vermont and decided to play with a few.

Can't decide which I like best - the Coloured version the B&W version or the sepia version. Confuse me more by showing me your version, please.

A larger version of the original can be seen here.

Re: 1929 Packard Coupe

Thought the background drew the focus away from the car somewhat. Here's a pencil without it.

Nice play, Palms. I always have a ton of fun in this group, so I'm just trying to give some back. <smile>

Both plays are nice, Skipatk, though I find myself liking the straight B&W the best. Thanks for playing.

Loved the old Packards. Great car on the old washboard roads. Here is my offering via Corel Painter, with a tad bit of Photoshop.

The Packards were (are?) beautiful vehicles. Nice render, Gunner.

Re: 1929 Packard Coupe

Hi Gene! While cars, per se, are not my subject of choice, this one really caught my interest. Everyone's done an amazing job.
My choice of yours would be the color pencil version. A little splash, a little dash, gosh those old vehicles were romantic!

I chose to layer, sketch on top of an enriched, saturated layer...then added highlights, changed color & did a dark border. Don't know why...
