Newbie Merry Old

One of my daughters brother-in-law really loves England; this is one of his photos from a recent trip there. He posted this on facebook on November 18th so it is very recent. He doesn't mind us reworking it here. I'll have another scene to post right after this one.

Re: Merry Old

Did this one with a new DAP preset that I got from the DAP Cafe' today (thanks Roc). I also blended it with FotoSketcher Oil Pastel Sketch and did a few additional GIMPy things; Xero Supersmooth blend too.

Re: Merry Old

Not as nice as I'd like, but this is my play.

Re: Merry Old

Wow, like the different renditions. How did each of you do your versions?

Re: Merry Old

Gunner: Totally agree about the many wonderful renditions. Mine was done in Dynamic Auto-painter using the FunkyOil AOP with further processing in PSPv9 to add contrast and texture.

Re: Merry Old

Argh, once again I am foiled by the PC platform. I guess I should do more thinking and actually remembering what I have learned thru tutorials.

Newbie Re: Merry Old

Did some Photoshop CS5 and then moved to Corel Painter 11. Not satisfied, but that's it for today.

I used Topaz Adjust and Akvis Artwork to do mine.

Re: Merry Old

Hey Fran! You really need to stop using invisible ink on your drawings. <Big Grin>

Gunner: Nice. Really like the brushes you used.
