I've been to Hastings only once. Remember it being a lot brighter and more colourful - your in laws must have picked the one day a year that it rains

Went a little too abstract with this PostworkShop watercolor, but I still figuring things out with it so bare with me. lol

Found this one more of a challenge than usual. Had trouble figuring out how I wanted to play this one. So of course, I've several versions.

First I tried out a grunge AOP

But it didn't seem right. So I did one using a Bierstadt AOP in DAP and some post processing.

More colourful, but still not quite right.

Finally I thought maybe as a pencil smudge.

This one has a better 'fit' to the original, dark, gloomy and grey. <Smile>
