Near Cape St Mary's Newfoundland

You all are way too busy. You should be spending more quality time creating photo art! <Smile>

Photo taken back in 2006 during our 3 week visit to Newfoundland. Trip was way too short!!!

First paint done using ABH following Palm's post on how she creates her gems. The second done following Vitaly's watercolour tutorial.

Hope you enjoy them. And I look forward to see how you all render this.

Just drag the texture and drop onto the image and alter blend mode/opacity, or select texture and paste
this texture is on my blog if you want to download it

Now, now, Amica. You didn't think you could post that lovely image and not have me ask how you applied the brushstroke textures, did you? <Smile>

Nice one Gunner. But you sure it wasn't past your bedtime? <Big Grin>

Re: Near Cape St Mary's Newfoundland

What a cool pattern Amica. With some displacement mapping, this one could quite adapt to application to many types of renders. Thanks for it.

Re: Near Cape St Mary's Newfoundland

Really nice photo -- thanks for posting. I've enjoyed looking at everyone's rendition. My version was done in DAP Monet layered over some CS4 adjustments.

Re: Near Cape St Mary's Newfoundland

Hmmm...don't know how this one escaped me, it's so pretty. I've been as far as Nova Scocia but always wanted to get to Newfoundland.

I did so much to this baby but largely did an IR layered and blended over the original.

Re: Near Cape St Mary's Newfoundland

Both lovely renditions, Fran & Veronica. Thanks for playing.

And Veronica, you must make it as far as Newfoundland next time. It is a beautiful place filled with exceptionally friendly people. (But I still think of Nova Scotia as God's country. <Grin>)
