Re: Some Madeira Pics to play with

Thanks for the play Amica. Did some tonemapping before feeding that result into multiple blends of PostworkShop to get the Renaissance interpretation.

Lyle, that looks absolutely great!
Gene, so lovely, I like a lot

Here's another one: Topaz Adjust to start with, then a couple of blendings in PWS :-)

Re: Some Madeira Pics to play with

Thanks for the comments Gene/Amica; like both of your versions too. Still experimenting with PwS after going through my illustrative process for this one.

Re: Some Madeira Pics to play with

Thanks Amica. Most of the effect was done using layer properties applied to the target with the base layer being filled with Neutral gray (a combination of color, burn and a few other ingredients). Some additional simplification was done using PwS (my acronym for PostworkShop for now one).

Liked the coloured pencil versions, so tried my hand at that using DAP with some post in PSPv9. Again thanks for the play, Amica.

Thanks Amica - Here a go at the Santana House using two DAP AOPs (Colorful and Renoir) and using a blend mode of Darken between the layers in Photoshop.

Like both of these Skip. Am going to have to try that with DAP myself and see what comes out of it.

Re: Some Madeira Pics to play with

Okay, okay. I really need to be doing other stuff. Sheeeeeesh!. <grin>

The first I copied Skip's process of two DAP AOPs blened. I added a bit of contrast and texture in PSPv9.

The second done in FotoSketcher. First ran it using Painting 3 to simply image and then used that with Painting 7 (Brushstrokes) to complete the image. Some post in PSPv9 to add texture, contrast and tweak saturation as well.

Thanks for looking.
