Splitting Pixels forum looking for members.

Dear All,
I was hoping that a few of the folks here would be interested in checking out Splitting Pixels forum (http://s3.excoboard.com/splitting_pixels). We are a photo art forum (photography, photo art, digital graphics and so on). So far the most popular thread proved to be “games” there participants start with a few pictures and modify/enhance/artify them, but we are quite flexible in what could be done providing enough people are interested. Lately we have been slowing down and would be happy to get some fresh view, ideas and participants.

I know it is a bit annoying....it is one of the forum software features... not sure if a full preview could be available.

Btw, a notification e-mail sent to an address given at registration came back with "rejected by the recipient domain" message...

I checked out Splitting Pixels a couple hours ago myself. Some of the forums can be viewed w/o being registered (such as the challenges). Looks like some very creative folks hang out there.

I'm looking FWD to my registration request approval myself!

Yes, unfortunately this is one of those "features" that under different circumstances would be called a bug. I did check if there is any option that would give full access to visitors, not much it seems could be done.

I'm in, looks like it needs some activity to me. Took less than 24 hours to be approved.

Yes, activity is exactly what is needed....a proper recipe would be something like activity- two table spoons, inspiration- 1 spoon and so on

The username has been registered. The administrator has however selected to screen all new registrations.

Did you try to register and it didn't work or you tried my recipe and didn't get too far ? I probably missed a few ingredients as far as the recipe goes. In your case I am positive that all the required ingredients are there...

Lynn, I just registered you and sent a confirmation e-mail. You should be able to see the whole forum by now. Please use login and password that was used at registration.

I check some member registered Splitting Pixels forum.

Dron58 is not here in member list.

I finally was able to set the forum to full preview for non-registered users. After all it was about setting the interface right.
