Things have been awfully quiet in here of late. Suspect that Real Life is interfering with people's creativity. <Grin>

Here a photo I took back in May 2007 at the International Tulip Festival held each year in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada).

And a watercolour I created using Vitaly's wonderful tutorial.

Great post Gene and you beat me to the punch using Vitaly's watercolor technique. It really works well with this photo. Here's my go at a soft colored pencil look.

@Lyle: Wow! Love that.

@Skip: Would have liked to see your rendition using Vitaly's Tut. Find it pretty interesting how a slight change in setting here or there can strongly effect the outcome. Your coloured pencil version is quite nice.

@Lyle: Grab Mary's newest AOP and let DAP do it for you. (re: being too lazy to try it yourself <Smile>)

Gene - Ask and you shall receive. It looks like I'm leaving mine a little rougher or less detailed than you are. I like it both ways.
