Vitaly doesn't recommend using a photo with too much detail for his Piker Watercolor tut, but I thought I would give it a go. Maybe cropped it looks a little better?

@Ol'Baldy. Really like your treatment here. Nice.

@Skip: Once bitten by Vitaly, there is just no turning back, is there? <Big Grin> BTW, After using the 6pt detail brush, I like to add another layer and reduce the brush to 3 pt. Allows for bring in some needed detail.

Isn't it amazing how great minds think alike - I've starting using a 3 pt brush recently also. You're right, no turning back now.

Great rendition using Vitaly's watercolor.

ha ha I can see where you get Laurel and Hardy from Ol Baldy nice work

Nice watercolours Skip and Gene, not sure which brush Viataly uses for his detail work but Trimoon has a couple of detail brushes that are great for, well, details ! !
