| Male Portrait It looks as if a lot of older photo painting challenges are coming back to life, which is a great thing. I'm pleased to see that happening as there is a wealth of content in this forum. However, I'm going to add a newer one to the mix. Enjoy guys and gals. Lyle, nice second one. Pretty boy? hmmmm Lqqker, you caught the reality quite well. Nice treatment. Even I didn't notice or remember the scar near his left eye. Palms, my friend, superb work as always. I love your style on the second one especially. Danny, you always manage to pull something from the many programs you test into your art work and make it unique and well done. Nice sketch work with this one. Baldy, Geepee, Peter, Steve way to go. Each of you saw his unique features and played with the theme in a different way that shows a separate portion of personality. I'm enjoying all the different renditions. Thanks all. Janet |

| Re: Male Portrait I don't know...when I first looked at him it was an image that did not appeal to me, for reasons I'm probably better off not knowing. So, I tried to "toughen" him up. Many of the previous contributors did just that...good direction to go in. Great work everyone...Palms, your AHB was stupendous. For this I used two separate textures, duplicate layers and blending modes. My eyes are screwy from looking at this so closely. Also added the two textures. |
