Thanks, your result is good too!
About the word, I do not know as English is not my main language.

Re: Couple of Dogs

Thanks Deb. Tried to reproduce the result (I tend to do things by the seat of my pants and don't go by a set formula for most of the concoctions that I do; lol). I ran G'MIC (a GIMP filter) with B/W Pencil twice, run B/W Stamp (another G'MIC preset) and the run Impressionist with Geo Chaotic Chrome and added a paper texture to it. At least that's what I did for this one.

Re: Couple of Dogs

I missed these little puppies back in March. Thanks for bringing them back, Lyle. Your wacky vine style is very interesting.

I don't know what I'd call this one but the photo was fun to work on.

And here's puppy #2. I think it's kind of an oil painting.

Re: Couple of Dogs

I love the quisical, suspicious way the dog's head's cocked to one side.

I thought that this required something simple, so I did that, then complicated it up, uncomplicated it, tried something new that messed it up ... anyway, back to normal.

Re: Couple of Dogs

I don't know why it popped into my head, but I haven't done an ice sculpture since PS 4.

It's not the best I've ever done, but the question is ... is it photo-art?
