Newbie Santa Fe revisited

Just got back from another get away in Santa Fe, NM. Love that area even if it's getting harder for this old duffer to breathe up there.

For these I used PS CS5 and Filter Forge 2.0. Then a mask and some restoration of lines, etc. plus a texture I got somewhere along the line.

Of course I still haven't learned when to put the original image in the uploader so it is the middle one. D'oh!

Thanks for the play Gunner; a little on the abstract side with this result.

Nice and warm looking! Not what it was like up there, snowed when we got there, but a balmy snow, if that's possible! lol

Re: Santa Fe revisited

Like the result of the MAC DAP Gunner; maybe soon, Oscar will add full arsenal to it. Also and excellent watercolor result Palms. Felt I should do a more capture accurate render this time.

Re: Santa Fe revisited

REALLY like this scene. thanks for the play.

The Filter Forge effects are most impressive. Well done.

I used ImpressionFX, Akvis sketch & (the old) Paint Engine on this one.

Re: Santa Fe revisited

Haven't had much time to myself lately but when I saw this beautiful photo a lightbulb clicked in my head. Finally a scene so perfect to go with the wood frame in Fotosketcher!(with a slight hue adjustment).

Not too much changed in the photo...blended a bluer sky, small things like that.

Re: Santa Fe revisited

All good renditions. I never think about putting frames on my work here, but I like this one for sure.

Re: Santa Fe revisited

Wonderful photo, Gunner!

Lovely renditions - Vera, I think the frame shows how great a wall hung photo this would be with a good frame.

Used Topaz Simplify and Adjust with a touch of Fractalius and some masking
