Just repackaging and old reticulation technique for this last version from this series (believe I did them all now; lol).

Re: People in China

Trying a new DAP preset based on Pino. I did augment the result with a few additon tweaks (hey, it's what I do). Click belore for the complete rendition; attached is a crop.

Re: People in China

Looking real good, Lyle! Haven't had the chance to grab it and play with it just yet. I can see I'll be busy this weekend. <Grin>

Re: People in China

Curse you for resurrecting this thread.

More experiments in sketchyness (sp?). I'm starting to think that B&W is better - they don't take colour very well.

What blending mode do you use? You can try Overlay or Luminosity and adjust the opacity, and after merging the Levels.
I quite enjoy looking at all the different versions you guys come up with

Re: People in China

Essentially, I've been concentrating on making a B&W and then placing the original colour pic, set to color blend, on the top of the stack, Sylvia.

Re: People in China

lol; over the years I've seen multiple cool threads come back to life Crapaud (may have been the instigator on a few of them; lol). Sylvia takes some compelling captures and I've definitely enjoyed playing with them over the years.

Re: People in China

Crapaud: Might I suggest you place the B&W line art/sketch over the coloured photo and set blend mode to Luminance? That's how I create my coloured line art images
