HELP - Painter 10 Loading Fay Sirkis brushes

My computer crashed a week ago. Had Fay Sirkis brushes loaded.
Now have painer 10 uploaded and cannot get the brushes to load.
Have loaded them one at a time, compressed the folder and used
Chris' brush loader, but to no avail. Open the brush folder and
it shows everything is there, but dioes not show up in software.?
Any help appreciated.

Been awhile since I loaded brushes into Painter X, so I don't recall specific brush load steps offhand...

Don't recall every having to compress a folder. Never used the Chris loader tool.

Just looked in my Painter X brushes folder...

For each brush folder, e.g.,

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter X\Brushes\Painter Brushes\Conte

...there is a .jpg file, e.g. conte.jpg within \Painter Brushes that corresponds to the brush folder.

If it was me, I'd create a FaySirkus folder, e.g.,

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter X\Brushes\Painter Brushes\FaySirkus

... and put the brush files there. Should be 4 files for each brush:

NameOfBrush.jpg
NameOfBrush.nib
NameOfBrush.stk
NameOfBrush.xml

...then duplicate one of the existing .jpg files, e.g. acrylic.jpg -> copy of acrylic.jpg, then rename it to FaySirkus.jpg (or use a FaySirkus.jpg if provided).

Sounds like you've got the bases covered, but maybe something above with turn on a light.
