Paris Street

...on a rainy morning.

To see the original visit www.hut18.com/parisstreetorig.jpg

To see my large version done with filter forge 3 visit http://www.hut18.com/parisstreetpainted.jpg

Hoping to get back in the swing of things after a few years off the track, now that my kids are all grown (but not out of the house!) and I'm semi retired. Turning 65 can be a good thing!

Thanks for providing the photo, Amy. Like Lyle, I like the feel of your version. And Lyle, love the bold colors.

Re: Paris Street

Hi Amy, thanks! I used the Art History Brush for the color areas and the line part was
Thredgeholder_Free_Setup.exe by Little Ink Pot and the texture was a third layer blended.
BTW, I enjoyed how your colors worked out, especially the lights of the buildings.

Re: Paris Street

Nice pic, Amy, and nice work folks.

I did a bit of colour work on this as dawn / dusk shots always have a murky blue cast that kills the more vibrant colours. I also made changes to the green lights and bag on the LHS - it looked out of place and drew the eye.

Re: Paris Street

It's cold and rainy here in central NY and there's not much to do but play on the computer. Thanks to Swampy for her framing action!!
