I am really enjoying working with Postworkshop.

This was made with a blend of several of the painting filters. I'm still exploring the possibilities.

Re: landsape

I did a spot of pre-artification: colour correction with curves, a series of channel blends to create a new luminosity layer with a greater tonal range and, finally, dropped in a new sky.

I didn't immediately appreciate it, Nancy, but your pic's a really nice composition. Thanks for sharing it.

Re: landsape

Fran - very pretty - that pink path is waaaaaaay cool! Yes I normally play with a curves layer at the end of my edits...if the colors are really 'blah' in the beginning I may pump them up in the LAB color space by steepening their slopes

Lyle - that sky is amazing!

Crapaud - thank you - the picture was in my 'holding room' folder - pictures that didn't really make the first cut go there...but there was something about it. I am totally obsessed with learning Postworkshop and so I used it as a guinea pig. Your edit really emphasized the lines of the path and railing and the organic splotches of the trees, very nice.

Joe - so beautifully abstract - a tiny bit like a pretty pastel stained glass window

Re: landsape

OlBaldy - very nice. I like the way the rainbow echoes the arch of the path with the railing
