A couple of castles from my tour of the west coast of Scotland for you to play with.

PM me if you'd like a higher res file.

Have fun.

Thanks, Fran, I'm glad you like it. It was more of a snap taken with my wee compact than a proper photograph, though. I wish I could remember the castle's name or at least the name of the loch.

The first photo is of Eilean Donan Castle. It's been the star of many a movie, including Entrapment where Catherine Zeta-Jones nearly got thrown off the roof.

Lovely work as always.

Lyle, I was half expecting some sort of sword and sorcery, fantasy, fractillius creation. Nice work.

I think I've had a breakthrough with the AHB. My first couple of attempts looked like they'd been caught up in a paintball fight ... and then dropped.

Re: Castles

Nice work with the AHB, Crapaud. I'm still struggling with it.

Ditto what Fran typed.

Fran: Liked your version too. Nice combination of edges and painterly look.

Re: Castles

"The good times will outnumber bad
Though sometimes you shall fall
It's at that time that you should seek
The strength of the castle wall.

For no matter the path you choose to take
No matter the strength of tides
You need only look inside your heart
For that's where the castle resides."
