Re: Free Simplifier

Well, Version 3 is out. It's not a small upgrade. The additional sliders are significant. I have not tested it much, but some new sliders appear to do nothing until other sliders are turned up. So it takes a little getting used to. Be sure to notice the colorize button.

Re: Free Simplifier

They have a several free plugins there. I've also used their free Seamless Workshop.

Anyway, what they did with this version is add a powerful sharpener. Sharpeners cranked up high become edge effects, and can also add texture to minor edges. It also has a line control for mediating the sharpener. This version also provides a mix slider, which is the same as an opacity slider for blending in the original.

And then there is that square colorize button. Takes some getting used to, but it's a fun effect. He also has a randomize button along with undo and redo. Not sure what else he could add.

Thanks again for the heads up; just noticed that they also have another cool looking plugin called Sharpinion which I'm now just toying with (for making fake HDRs).
