Film-based scenic makeover

I'm wrapping up the art for my free 2013 calendar and just finished transforming this old 1990s film-based image from Williamsburg VA into a nice work of art using PostworkShop and Flypaper Textures.

Several PostworkShop and a few Flypaper texture layers were comped and blended. You will see a higher-res version of the final work on my Calendar page soon.

Re: Film-based scenic makeover

Here's another before and after, this time with the onOne Suite (Perfect BW and Perfect Effects).

Before applying effects I moved the vending machine a bit to the right (lasso selected, popped onto a new layer, shifted) to remove dead space.
