My latest artsy

I trotted out scans of my 20-year-old photos and ran them through Topaz Impression's presets. Easy art!

I included the original images and show several effects (with some detail crops).

Re: My latest artsy/ An inspiration

Well I liked the Williamsburg Cave Dweller so much I turned it into a paperweight.
It looks fine on my desk and prevents virtual winds from blowing away my virtual paper.

The technique I used was posted on the forum a few years ago. But hey its artsy too.

Re: My latest artsy

Just did these in a few minutes, using unedited presets (original at upper left). It's almost too easy.

Re: My latest artsy

I downloaded this new plugin from Topaz but I had problems getting it to work. Everything I chose did not work and with the trial, you can only use the one sample photo and I could not find where to load one of my own to try. Did you?

Re: My latest artsy

File>Open or (on the Mac at least) Command-O.

Drag and drop onto interface (not Dock icon) works on Mac.

I did not get as far as you did (I had other problems w/out of date video card), so here's a shot in the dark: Did you enter "registration code" you should have received via e-mail?

Re: My latest artsy

I did all my examples on a 2010 iMac, no problems with that video card.

Re: My latest artsy

Created fake HDR, followed by Buzz, followed by Fotopainter (new Painting 9 preset).
