Exclamation New digital frames and edges thread created

With the growing interest in digital frames and edges, I've created a separate thread for actions crafted for this purpose.

Over the next few weeks I'll flesh out this thread by posting links to existing posts where other actions of this nature can be found.

Keep having fun!

~DannyR~

Bud: Don't panic... I won't delete any more posts... I'll create links to existing ones instead!

Lemos' and Bill's Wood Frame with Beveled edges

There are MANY actions available that generate "wood frames," but this is the first I've seen that creates "beveled" corners. If you're into action writing, check out these two actions. They are simply amazing.

And the RESULTS are very, very impressive.

There are two actions in this package: one that runs straight through (AUTO), after a couple initial informational messages and the other (ADJUSTABLE) that provides numerous opportunities to add custom touches.

A huge thanks to Bill Richardson from the U.S. and Lemos Pinto of Portugal, who jointly developed this action set. Talk about an international collaboration? Well done, guys.

Lemos' and Bill's Wood Frame ver 2.0

If you liked the previous action set by Bill and Lemos, you'll like this one better...

There's more built-in automation.

CAUTION: DO NOT rename this action set. Doing so will cause the actions within it to fail.

Thanks again to Lemos and Bill for sharing their handiwork.

It's been awhile since I've visited Adobe Studio.

--> I believe you must be registered and logged in before viewing any of the content.

If that's you, here are the current Photoshop frame/edge actions in their collection: http://share.studio.adobe.com/axBrowseSubmit.asp?c=41

Actions written by these authors are especially good:
* Robert Anselmi
* Tymo

Soft border frame

I wrote this action in to create a soft edge like the one in this example:

http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/att...chmentid=18788

The action allows you to:
* Decide on the width of the border
* Control the degree of edge bluring
* Change the color of the edges

Have fun!

Re: ACTIONS: FRAMES, Edges Photo-art Photoshop act

Here are some sets I made - intended for screen-size images. Most are very simple and without fancy textures etc.

There are 7 sets of different types - links to all here.
