Texture Painting Photos

I have not been able to get very far with this method, but the result on the website sure looks good. And maybe someone else can take this method and run with it.

It is a method for creating photo art by doing different degrees of paint strokes on different layers, and selectively showing different parts of different layers.

There are two links. The first one explains this for PSP7, and requires the painting engine in PSP7

http://totallysweetpixels.com/texturedpainting.html

The second one translates the method for use by people who do not have PSP7, by substituting Paint Engine as part of the process.

The method looks good to me, and maybe I just used the wrong photo to try it on. If you have good results, maybe you could display them here.

BTW, if you don't have Paint Engine, you can get it for free here.

These are great, Andrew. I'll be adding them to the "mother of all photo-art tutorial links" collection.

Really appreciate it.
