easy

This was really easy to do.
Make two layers..on one run filter>sketch>stamp. On the top layer run ?filter>noise>median'

Change the top layer to either linear burn(version 1)

or hard light(version 2)

Thanks for the quick tut. That sure does seem easy. I like the reuslts but I'm not sure which one I like best. Nice thing about blend modes, you can pick and choose and even use more than one. Nice job Cricket.

Nice crisp modernistic look that would have a lot of good uses...good way to get an abstract painting look. Will try this soon.

Over the past several months Cricket's works have inspired me at least 27 times, hence the name of this action based on the method she describes above.

Thanks for giving once again, Cricket.

~Danny~

This action will run under Photoshop 5.x, PS6 and PS7.

Example results from Cricket's #27 .atn.

Note: This action will work best on colorful images with large blocks of color.

On detailed images? Forget it. Try something else.

This is really neat. I like the woodcut look in your actions too Danny. Thanks for sharing
