Dad in sedona

I know the comments will come that this looks like a photo dropped into a painting...It's unfortunate that you cannot see the brush strokes when the image is resized for the web but I guess that's the way it goes... He really is painted but I wanted enough detail that the family would recognize him! :-)

Jaz,
Great oil painting. Was this done in Painter 7?
I may have to bring out my Painter 6 out from the cobweb bin.

Jaz.....

Think it's one of your "Best"...... exceptional!! You are really showing that you have mastered this program....

Watercolors have been my least favorite of the photo art, as they usually distort the facial features.

Thanks for the comments. I am far from mastering this program though. I'm at about the 5% level in terms of knowing it. I'm probably at the 25% mark in photoshop...

Incidentally, this one is pastel chalk on canvas...
